Benevolence

"When I was a kid... my father would sit by my bed every night before I went to sleep. And he would say to me: 'Percy, if you don't wake up tomorrow, if it turns out that today is your last day on earth, will you be proud of what you've done in this life? Because if you are not, you better start making good.'"

Many times I wonder, am I a star in the universe or the sun in a solar system?

As individuals, time is our only tool;  how we use it determines how significant the ripples of our existence are felt.

My rhetorical question has had deep meaning to my spiritual being.  It has not only helped provoke thought but answered my questions with more questions.  Maybe the answer is a question!
