Simpler times

Ever wonder what life was like 100, 200, 500, 1000 years ago?

Was life simpler then?  Sometimes I wonder how life would be without all of the technology we have today.  The world must have been such a bigger place.
Imagine a world where traveling to a far away land was something dreams were made of.  Leaving the safety of your ancestral homeland meant facing the unknown and risking death.

What happens to those that left and never returned?  How were they honored?  What became of their story?  What became of their successes?   Who will remember them?

Benevolence

Many times I wonder, am I a star in the universe or the sun in a solar system?

As individuals, time is our only tool;  how we use it determines how significant the ripples of our existence are felt.

My rhetorical question has had deep meaning to my spiritual being.  It has not only helped provoke thought but answered my questions with more questions.  Maybe the answer is a question!



A Police Officer has died

Today a member of the New York City Police Department; Police Officer Figoski was shot in the line of duty while investigating a Robbery/Burglary.  His legacy lives on through his 4 daughters.  No one will ever remember any of the bad, your spirit will be forever as a courageous hero.
